# ISBNLab

> ISBNLab (isbnlab.com) is a book metadata database and REST & GraphQL API keyed by ISBN. It returns book, edition, author, publisher, subject and BISAC genre data, groups every edition of the same book together, and validates and converts between ISBN-10, ISBN-13, EAN and ASIN.

Book pages live at `https://www.isbnlab.com/book/{isbn}/{slug}` and accept an ISBN-10 or ISBN-13. The API base URL is `https://www.isbnlab.com/api/` and every request needs a Bearer token from a free ISBNLab account. Each API documentation page below has an example request, an example response and a field reference.
